What is Oloid?
A mystical visual novel by Mazkof Games. A young family moves into an old Saint Petersburg apartment, and behind its walls lie the secrets of the people who lived there before. Four episodes, oil-painting art, choices and multiple endings.
Is it horror?
No, it’s a mystical novel — but there are jump scares. The fear here is quiet and everyday: a hammer, wallpaper, the meters in the hallway — and a few sudden moments we warn you about in advance.
Are there jump scares?
Yes, there are. We’re telling you up front, so there are no surprises.
How long is it?
One episode takes about 3–4 hours — an evening or two of unhurried reading. There are four episodes in all.
How much does it cost?
199 ₽ per episode.
How many episodes are there?
Four. The script for all four is written through to the very end.
When is it coming out?
Episode I arrives in October 2026. We’ll announce the next episodes on Telegram.
Which platforms?
Episode I comes out in October on iOS and VK Play. Steam and Google Play are coming soon.

Is the game available in English?
Yes. Episode I is fully translated into English: every line and choice, the interface, the glossary and the achievements. Pick the language in Settings. The voice acting stays in Russian, with the English text on screen.
Where is it set?
In present-day Saint Petersburg: an old apartment, courtyards, embankments, an asylum, a morgue, little vodka bars.
Are there choices and endings?
Yes. The game remembers your decisions, and there are several endings.
